great man

There were many great inventors during the technological revolution. Technology changed the United States for the better. Technology helped the way people lived their lives. There are three men, that helped change the way we live our lives.

Thomas A. Edison created the light bulb. The light bulb helped everyone greatly. It gave people light to see what they were doing. If factories had lights then people could work longer and jobs could higher more people. Edison also invented the phonograph. It was an early record player.

Alexander Graham Bell invented the telephone. The telephone helped people communicate with one another. It saved a lot of time because if you wanted to talk to someone in another state all you have to do is pick up the phone and call. Instead of writing a letter. He also invented the company AT & T, which is still around today.

Andrew Carnegie was the poster-child of a rags to riches story. Carnegie was born in Scotland and came to America in 1848. Carnegie decided to invest his money in steel instead of iron. He made millions by doing this. When Carnegie died he gave 350 million dollars to charity.

So that is how this men changed the world for the better. Every invention that these men are famous for are still around today. Like the light bulb and the telephone. They made lives easier for everybody.

This is a good summary on what some great inventors did during the technological revolution. I especially liked Thomas Edison’s invention as it helped the spread of not only light bulbs, but electricity to homes. Other than that, his invention of the phonograph was wonderful, as mp3 players today root back to it. Not only did all three of them did great, but many more probably did great things during the time to get society moving forward even more.

I liked your blog. It explained the inventions that Thomas Edison, and Alexander Graham Bell invented. You described how their inventions affected the lives in the 19th century. But more details and examples would have been beneficial. Overall, good blog but - in the nicest way - it could have been better.

That was a nice way to summarize some of the inventors. Wow, I did not know about Andrew Carnegie giving 350 million dollars to charity. I would not know what to do if these guys did'nt invent the lightbulb or the telephone because I wouldnt be able to do anything when its dark without the lightbulb and without the telephone I can't talk to my shortiessssss.

This is a very good blog. I learned that Andrew Carnegie gave 350 million dollars to charity. I agree with you that great inventors have made the world a better place. For example Alexander Graham Bell created the telephone, this invention has given us the ability to talk to anyone in the world. And if it was not for their preserving spirits, we would not be able to use the useful inventions they created like the light bulb and the telephone.

I liked how you organized your information. It was very easy to read. Thanks to what these men contributed, we now live comfortably in a technology-run world. Indeed, the inventions really did make life a lot simpler, and you really should put yourselves in their shoes. Like, having light suddenly gave them so many possibilities! It's pretty nice having all this stuff around today, but the people back then must've been blown out of their minds (in a good way).
